Australian psychedelic marauders run wild at rowdy Florida gig

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, one of the most exciting, entertaining, and prolific bands in the world these days, laid waste to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre with an utterly galvanizing performance that sent the sold-out crowd into rowdy frenzy.

Over the course of two hypnotic hours, the Australian psychedelic marauders played tracks off nearly a dozen of their albums, with a crowd of several thousand moshing, crowdsurfing, and vibing from start-to-finish. Metal, garage-psych, krautrock, synthpunk, noise, jazz, folk, you name it, the band had almost every genre covered, pulling it all off in stunning jam band fashion. With their rabid cult-like fanbase growing bigger and bigger by the minute, KGATLW are morphing into a bonafide movement, with a reputation for delivering one of the best live shows in the game.
