Legendary psychedelic space rock act delivers career-spanning set in NYC
Spiritualized, the legendary psychedelic and space rock band led by Jason Pierce, wrapped their most recent tour with a career-spanning set at New York’s Webster Hall this past week. The performance covered a lot of new material from most recent LPs And Nothing Hurt and Everything Was Beautiful, but Pierce – backed by a trio of backup singers and a terrific band – also played favorites off classics like Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space and Lazer Guided Melodies. By the end of the show, the entire audience was on Cloud 9.
