1. Julia Michaels, “Issues”
Julia Michaels is such a talented singer/songwriter who I am really looking forward to hearing more solo material from. I love this new song of hers and it’s deceivingly simple and effortless production by Benny Blanco and Stargate.

2. James Blake, “My Willing Heart”
James Blake put on the best concert I saw last year. This is such a beautiful video for a song I can hear to a million times over and feel it’s emotional journey fresh every listen.

3. Sly & The Family Stone, “If You Want Me To Stay”
Just a insanely amazing classic I’ve been listening to a lot all my life.

4. Tom Petty, “You Don’t Know How It Feels”
I heard this song in a coffee shop yesterday and was reminded how influential Jeff Lynne was as a producer for Petty. He created this new dry sound that was so revolutionary, evident on this song from Wildflowers produced by Rick Rubin.

5. Drake, “Glow” ft. Kanye
“Watch out for me, I’m about to glow”—I’ve been listening to this on repeat, my mantra of the moment. <3
