Method Man, Bridget Everett, Michael Che and more at Knitting Factory

During the last Comedy at the Knitting Factory show that took place in the back room in January, comedian Hannibal Buress joked that he was trying to get Method Man to perform at a show for his birthday, which was in early February. Fast forward to Sunday, March 30th, when he held another edition of his weekly comedy show in the back room, the day after his second hour length special premiered on Comedy Central (Hannibal Buress: Live from Chicago). Sunday night's show featured sets by fellow comedians Kurt Metzger, Lil Rel Howery, Michael Che and a music performance by Bridget Everett (who tortured a male audience member that became pretty integral to her performance) plus a special, unnanounced guest, that truly turned out to be Method Man. Method Man performed Wu-Tang and solo material for the crowd and closed with a cover of Sugar Hill Gang's “Rapper's Delight” while encouraging Hannibal to rap the second verse. Hannibal didn't know the words to the second verse and hilariously ad libbed something instead.

Hannibal celebrates his birthday with the one and only Method Man.
