The third annual Global Citizen Festival, which aims to help end global poverty by 2030, took place in Central Park in New York, NY on Saturday, September 27. Photographer Kristie Holt captured performances by Carrie Underwood, No Doubt, and Jay-Z. She also photographed the appearances by non-musical acts such as Jeffrey Sachs, Olivia Wilde, Katie Holmes, model Erin Heatherton, Kweku & Ndaba Mandela (Nelson Mandela’s grandsons), Rwanda’s president Paul Kagame, Jessica Alba, Hugh Jackman and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, whose organization pledged $15 billion to improve access to clean water and provide sanitation around the world.
