The UK’s heavy noise-rock two-piece consuumer has been hard at work on their debut EP, titled Shattered Fruit. But while we wait for the coming of that EP in early 2017, we’ve got the exclusive premiere of the “Radio” music video.
Directed and edit by consuumer, the video is dark, almost eery for the lack of light as you can make out only the faint outlines of a man (Scott Miles) facing away from you. Largely shot in slow motion, the video is a dance piece. However, it’s a little out of the ordinary, as the Miles is dancing alone at night in the middle of the road, with only a car’s headlights to allow you to make out his figure at all. Cameras catch him at several angles, while it does slightly more than remind us of our drunk friends acting like hooligans in the middle of the night. Somehow – with warm air visibly flowing from his mouth – it’s the perfect visual to this intense track we’ve come to know and love.
Shattered Fruit will be out January 17th. Keep up with consuumer here.
