Co/ntry, "Living in a Body"

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

Montreal synth pop duo Co/ntry – expertly comprised of Beaver Sheppard and David Whitten – released their second album Cellphone 1 back in April. With its 80’s synth and sax vibes and slow tempo, their track “Living in a Body” is a song to behold. The vocals are delivered light as a feather – almost in a creepy, but captivating, way -, an interesting and artful experiment in itself. We’ve got the eery video to share with you, just in time to get you on board for their show at Baby’s All Right tonight.
Says Co/ntry:

Champagne, screw driver loaded syringes, 18 types of bread, a thousand island cake, all the spaghetti you can look at, a mother’s touch, a daddy’s scream, a lover’s whisper, your grand mother’s cologne.
