Hailing from Northern California, Happy Diving got together after they all decided to leave old projects behind and begin anew. In under a month, they recorded and released their self-titled debut EP with Father/Daughter Records in San Francisco. It's available now digitally and will come out on limited edition cassette February 18. "Never Been," off the EP, is a sunny grunge-pop slacker anthem, from the singers' oo-ing and aa-ing to the nostalgic-for-highschool-gymnasiums accompany video, which you can check out above. Catch them at South by Southwest in March.
