Hot Sugar's recently released Made Man EP, a powder keg of ideas in music production he calls "Associative Music," is outdone only by some of his video work on selected tracks. The video for "Mama, I'm a Man" just premiered and features Antwon, Lakutis, and Big Baby Gandhi, doing for escalators what Weekend Money did for the backseat of cabs in the video for "Yellow" (which incidentally has a breif Hot Sugar cameo). "Mama, I'm a Man" falls under a less conceptual category than, say, the screwball melodrama of "Erica," also on the EP, but it nonetheless showcases his playful mastery of what looks and sounds good.
