With images of swampy landscapes and dreamy forests, HR_Lexy deliver grungy sophistication in their video for “Eyes.” It’s lo-fi rock mixed with electro-pop, and proves the Nashville, TN based female fronted trio has plenty of spunk and gumption.
Consisting of Arlene Sparacia on vocals, John Ferrante and Justin Verted, the trio blend haunting guitar crunch and confident vocals on “Eyes.” The video shows Sparacia in front of different nature landscapes, with neon color overlays, inducing a bit of hard core disorientation. It’s what would result from blending “Blair Witch Project” with an Elvis Depressedly track. HR_Lexy’s brand of witch goth is calculated and concise, and their videography presents a stunning representation of their niche.
