Kid Runner‘s bio say that they’re a synth pop band and “If you’re still wondering what Kid Runner sound like think Foster The People meets Passion Pit, but Foster still has a thing for CHVRCHES and Phoenix…it’s complicated.” Well, considering I’m a fan of all of those bands, I was not disappointed. We are so excited to have the premiere for the video of their acoustic session of “Give Me Something To Love”.
The video is set in a living room, with all the band members scattered throughout, just having a jam session. It’s casual and fun and there’s so much chemistry between the members. Not to mention, all of them are insanely talented. The vocals are spot on a beautiful, each instrument balancing each other out and not overpowering one another, which seems to be hard to when you’re having a live acoustic session. This track is a gentle and feel good groove that you’re guaranteed to love. Give me something to love?
