“Stay Present”, is the newest single from Light Thieves’ upcoming second album Future Colors. The quartet from Fresno, CA (Joel Robert Melton; Erica Salazar; Kaleb Saldate; and Mike Adame) has been together since 2012 and have formed a solid fan base in California and the Pacific Northwest..
“Stay Present” has a fusion/alt rock sound that is both sophisticated and spontaneous. The video for “Stay Present”, directed and edited by Greg Schoenwald and shots by Kris Avery, has the same quality. It is psychedelic in its colors and abstract imagery, yet more elegant in storytelling. Is it all a dream, or is it reality? A good video will make you ask questions and this one does.
