Literature, “The Girl, The Gold Watch, And Everything”

Post Author: Quinn Moreland

Last summer, Philadelphia’s Literature released their sophomore record Chorus, a glorious follow-up to 2012’s knockout Arab Spring. The sunshiny Chorus opens with “The Girl, The Gold Watch, and Everything,” a track whose fast-paced indiepop picks up right where Arab Spring left off. In a new video directed by Jack Wagner, the foursome plow through the track with frenetic energy, mic-sharing harmonies, and some really great patterned shirts.

Literature will soon be releasing a split with Expert Alterations on Square Of Opposition Records.

Chorus is out now via Slumberland Records.
