Marie Miller, “The Lonely Ends”

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

Nashville’s Marie Miller has been developing her sound for quite some time, as she has been working on her solo music since 2005 when she moved on from her family band. She’s got quite the resume, and it’s obvious to see why when you get to witness her talent. We’ve got the acoustic live video performance of her song “The Lonely Ends” up for premiere.

“I wrote ‘The Lonely Ends’ inspired by traditional American folk music,” admits Miller. “It tells the story of longing to be near your beloved.”

Her voice dances gracefully over delicate guitar chords, allowing the listener to feel like a weight has been lifted from their chest. It’s a bittersweet song that brings to the forefront the difficult emotions that come with love of any kind. We’re big fans of this raw, stripped down version.
