From The United Kingdom is Romy Xeno. Spending most of her childhood in South Africa, she became influenced by the sounds of nearby communities and the tones of nature. Here she acquired the taste for music from the natural world. Returning to the UK at the age of 16, she had to accept the cultural differences of the two colliding worlds, which then inspired a more deeper meaning in Ronny’s music.
The music and videography “Caramello” Romy wraps us up with a 1960s British pop blanket. You can clearly hear the astral bass along with crisp drum set. Her dreamlike vocal patterns and are incomparably unique and innocent. This shows us that she is staying true to how and where her inspirations came from.
