Last week Sleep When Dead threw a Showpaper Benefit in which Spank Rock was slated to headline, but did not, to the chagrin of the many eager attendees awaiting his set. Show organizer Joe Ahearn offered his take on the Spank Rock no-show:
“I heard a lot of excuses, but not any legitimate reasons. I think he just decided the “charity” rate his managment was charging us for his appearance wasn't worth getting out of bed.”
Cool!
