Really love the new Oh Sees album Dog Poison on Captured Tracks. While the strictly raw, minimal garage of an album like last year's Master's Bedroom Is Worth Spending A Night In is sort of perfect, this new one is John Dwyer at his most expansive, some tracks slow burning over organ lines, a couple Neil Young-vocal deliveries, an acoustic guitar, and plenty of melancholic neo-nostalgic classics like the lead-off to both sides, “The River Rushes” and the B-side's “I Can't Pay You to Disappear.” Check out the Myspace for the first.
