<p>With longevity that is typically unheard of in this musical landscape, Brazilian psych-rockers Os Mutantes continue to deliver the hits, over and over again for the past 40 years. Their latest effort, Fool Metal Jack, is set to release on April 30 through Krian Music Group and with “Ganjaman” we get our first glimpse of what the influential political musicians are bringing us with this mixed-up, living and breathing, vaguely Jamaican-sounding harmonyfest. With reggae upstrums and fluid dominating bass, “Ganjaman” could easily be a Police b-side or a Marley tribute song. But it has the beat and tap so present in Os Mutantes' songs, making the stamp a recognizable contribution to gear us up for the full-length release.
Os Mutantes are on tour now. Check out their dates below the new track.
