Remember that scene in Coffee & Cigarettes with GZA, RZA and Bill Murray? You know, the one where they drink herbal tea? Yeah, that was more than acting. It was the budding of a long term friendship.
It's no secret that Bill Murray is a rare card. Seeing him old-man-bounce to GZA performing hits from his classic Liquid Swords only solidified his status as one of the coolest people on the planet. The friends were first spotted by our photographer Jenz, yucking it up back stage like old pals. Later, Murray was grooving near the back of the stage, mixing it with the young lasses with backstage access. What a life you lead, Mr. Murray.
We heard rumors all night about a surprise performance from GZA and Ol' Dirty Murray, but results have yet to surface.
