Julian Duron, business in front and party in the back.
I have had the pleasure of meeting him at Jelly parties and found he's an all around cool, jolly dude who often wears bright clothing that sometimes attracts bees. First time we talked he was wearing a Knicks hat, so I asked if he was a fan. Not really.
He also writes for this site.
I want to strip my clothes off and dip inside his paintings. Working in acrylics, he uses saturated colors and wedges geometric objects against one another, while playing on the campsite motif. Don't get him confused with this artist, though I doubt he'd mind.
He's also putting together a pop-up exhibition entitled Screen Burns.
Words from the presenter himself:
Submit your
wacky art films, videos, internet art, animations or any screenable
work to my show in BK. Everyone that submits will show work in the
gallery. Selected artists will screen outside facing the busy street
with audio. The show is juried by film and video artist Luis Gispert! Here's one great entry we received from Chris Little! The deadline to submit is November 30th! CLICK HERE NOW to submit.
Don't miss this opportunity to get your videos projected, meet some cool dudes, and win that cash money.
