A video game version of the Great Gatsby has surfaced, presumably from a lightly marked-up cartridge found at a garage sale. We all need mythic origin stories.
It's all 8-bit in its imagery, recalling the classic NES interface. In the fancy house Super Mario Bros. like opening, you're Nick and you grab gold coins while knocking down butlers with a boomerang hat. It's all good fun and I'm guessing you gotta save Daisy at some point or another or get in a race car riot in the Hamptons (right? I can't remember…).
Seems like fun, we just need an app for this. There was an older game released last year that didn't turn out so hot. This one is apparently better, so play it here.
