Tim Kinsella of Cap'n Jazz and Joan of Arc will be releasing a book this fall, on super-awesome press Featherproof Books. Called The Karaoke Singer's Guide to Self Defense, it's a layered story told from multiple perspectives about a family gathered back together for a funeral. The description reads: Long bus rides through a post-industrial Gothic Midwest, Classic Rock, and compulsive brawls hum a requiem for the late night life of Stone Claw Grove.
It's rocking an awesome 70s cover and features a blurb from Dennis Cooper. A free mini-book with a short piece is also available from the Featherproof website.
