Benedek (oka Nicky Benedek) is an artist whose music is usually described as synth-soul, which is something you don’t hear too often. He was born in – and is based in – Los Angeles, and released a brand new track not too long ago. A producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, he pulls inspiration from the city’s structural and visual dichotomies.
The track is called “Castle 2 Castle,” and it stays true to the synth-soul vibe. The track is subtle but so catchy. Although there’s a lot going on in there, the vibe is subdued. It’s definitely a track your body will move to, and you should definitely check it out.
