London’s dreampop artist Lucy Mason is gearing up to release an EP in March. But she just dropped her latest track “Hunger”, and we think it subsides the hunger pangs you may experience in deliberation of the EP. The song itself enters at a slow clip, with instrumentals that actually make you feel as though you are floating elegantly in slow motion. Lucy’s vocals are notably gorgeous, emanating a light and airy feel in the chorus which replicates the same deep breath feeling Ellie Goulding is so notable for.
Someone with this range of vocal talent is clearly a natural artist, drawn to music out of sheer necessity. And we can’t wait to see what comes of it.
Going Home Broke is out March 31st. Keep up with Mason here.
