Getting geared up for another round of stateside touring, our buds Gosh Pith brought us their fresh new single “Medu$a” that tackles materialism versus fostering your own inner drive through restrained & percussion-punctuated synth designs. The Detroit group continues to fine tune their craft of creating sounds of sung & arranged slickness that make a kind of cool & collected sound of being smooth & assured—while the progressions allude toward more complicated motifs at work. Josh & Josh shared the following exclusive insights with us on the new single:

“Medu$a” is about staying true to your sound, your true self, living and creating with the intent to inspire rather than to simply sell. We have been recording at the same spot in Detroit, at an abandoned church that has been re-purposed as a creative hub/recording studio called Assemble. Artists like Danny Brown, Griz, Hundred Waters, Zelooperz, JMSN, and others have been sliding through for recording and inspiration as of late.
