There’s Talk

From the western reaches of the great Pacific Coast, There’s Talk returns with word of a new EP arriving this February as Olivia Lee, Young Lee & Kellen Balla gift us with the evocative ambience & creative electronic essences that comprise their six minute plus single “Give It Up”. Forever a group that defies expectation & the confines of definition alone, Olivia & company create a style & sound that moves like the Bay Area fog [affectionately named Karl by many local denizens], where the feelings, moods & conversations remain in an active flux of action & expression that affects all with ears to hear (and all with feelings to feel).
“Give It Up” follows up the previous single “In Your Hands” where Olivia, Kellen & Young enter an ambient pool of reckoning. There’s Talk take the listener to those intimate places of feeling where all the inner & outer voices become one codified & unified voice where suddenly new realizations are made. With a deep breath, There’s Talk takes steps to open up aspects of consciousness to the message of nature where the elements inform the spirit & mind of aspects that were previously unconsidered. The road to enlightenment is felt as intricate electronic assemblies of synths & percussive components wash over the listener as emulated entities & aspects of the natural world, providing cryptic & calming messages of truths to assuage the adventurer. Olivia Lee offered the following exclusive introduction to “Give It Up”:

This song is to anyone getting by on the belief that they deserve better, even if they don’t know what that better is. Take a deep breath, listen to the trees, get out of the spiraled mind.

The new There’s Talk EP will be available in February.
