Sellout! Music delivers the fresh new rhythms & blues brought by Nicolai with “Like A Leaf” that is guaranteed to shake you up proper like a leaf on a tree. Produced by Kenneth Ishak, a wealth of big band production meets an economic expressions that lays it all out on the line in expert fashion, flaunting all forms of feeling & inspired carpet-cutting flights of fancy.
Nicolai incorporates rhythmic harmonies & a wealth of electrified energy into the equation of ultra-kinetic expressions. The namesake of “Like a Leaf” introduces a new sort of dance that is all their own, where ripping guitars & progressive percussive moments keep the action measured step for step & beat for beat. A paradigm of life imitating nature (or is it nature imitating life?) keeps the song spinning to the beat of the artist’s own drum where every note & harmonic component finds their own force of unrelenting momentum. Nicolai introduced the new single with the following reflections:

[I] wanted to make a fun, fast and catchy song about falling deeply for someone. If the song was an element, it would be air. It would be fast, and it would just blow straight through you.
