Off their recent St. Marie Records release There is Only Know; dream pop believers Secret Shine present the video for “Falling Again” featuring shimmer city views directed by label boss Wyatt Parkins. Bristol’s shoegaze legends Jamie Gingell, Kathryn Smith, Dean Purnell, Scott Purnell & Tom Adams who originally went under the moniker of Amelia’s Dream (Sarah Records/A Turntable Friend) keep the ethereal ethic alive with further daydream inspired aesthetics that keep the classic sneaker staring styles gazing in 2017.
The St. Marie Records style in both sound & vision is upheld beautifully via label head Wyatt Parkin’s video work that collages together city images with band performance footage that blends metropolitan vistas & lush shimmering overexposed images filmed with the soft focus. Parkins matches the skyscraper panning motions with the group’s sound that allows “Falling Again” to enjoy the space between the celestial heights to the sights of the streets.
