Toronto's 4th Pyramid is on some busy bee efforts recently. After signing his Silk Ivory imprint to a joint venture with Lyrics To Go/Universal, he dropped his The Pyramid Scheme record in early March. He's got his power moves inked and finished. To show appreciation for the love thus far, he dropped “Simmy Auto” for free download.
Produced by Simahlak, “Simmy Auto” rides a gritty funk loop and plenty of white noise chops that offer a dangerous back drop to 4th Pyramid's threats. 4th Pyramid isn't taking his gun metaphor to Nas or Pharoahe Monch levels of giving breath to inanimate objects, but we'll say this much, Pyramid's street sweeper bursts from his vocal cords.
