“Comatose” is the second song from Amy Guess’ upcoming album 10 Times Out of 10. The Las Vegas based artist is set to release the album on January 20, 2017.
Guess has crafted a robust pop song in “Comatose” with lyrics that are easy to sing along and a tune that you find yourself humming once the song has ended. With a voice quality that is reminiscent of Aimee Mann, Guess sings with emotion that is palpable to the listener: “Like the beat of a drum, I feel you deep in my lungs/It’s a part of my soul/And there’s no way to win if I’m breathing it in/It’s a heavy smoke”.
