The two forebearers of the Lawrence, KS collective Chomp Womp have just released a newly pressed split 7-inch to help launch a fellow Lawrence label–Lovely Sea Records. Baby Birds Don't Drink Milk and Boo and Boo Too are responsible for the very first release on the imprint, with this cinematic piece of wax.
Baby Birds cover the a-side with the song “3”. One big orgasm, the song slowly builds, hitting a little Grizzly Bear moment in the middle before finally reaching it's climax. Cinematic because it peaks to bombastic proportions with an ending that is worth the nearly five-minute wait. Boo and Boo Too take us home on the b-side with the mod-inspired “I Am The Lorax”. With heightened intensity, it too escalates to grand proportions. Cinematic because it carries the weight of the record's dark side.
