Baby Birds Don't Drink Milk, “Burt”

A mere few weeks ago, we let you in on the secret that was Baby Birds Don't Drink Milk's first single off of their upcoming record Think Tone, and it turns out that the secret-giver keeps on whispering. In “Burt”, imagine that the Brooklyn-by-Kansas City group has gotten their hands on a spaghetti maker wherein they take a Brian Wilson classic and press it through, stretching it out to a wide, flattened, and enlongated track of its own. All of the clean tones and harmonies are still present, but they're operating on a new wavelength now—a spaghetti-style wavelength, all loose and formless and expansively vibrant. And if that metaphor doesn't speak to you, then just turn off the lights and don't think too hard about it.
