Big K.R.I.T.'s dreams from the dungeon

Big K.R.I.T.

Fresh off the heels of his collaboration EP with Grillade, Big K.R.I.T. is developing an identity as the southern gumbo of dirty south rap of the past 15 years. K.R.I.T. announces his “old school flow” on “Dreamin'” and proceeds to kick a song that sounds like the subtle meshing of Bun B and Pimp C's flows, the gripping reality of Geto Boys' “My Mind's Playing Tricks On Me” and ATLiens drum nostalgia.

Produced by himself, “Dreamin'” features K.R.I.T. relating his childhood influences from Scarface to 3-6 Mafia and chronicling his country boy growth from hoop dreams to dreams of living off this rap shit.

“Dreamin'” is available for download (clean and dirty version) at K.R.I.T.'s Returnof4Eva website.
