Caténine, “In Your Ruin”

Michael Giordano

The latest work of Caténine, the solo project of Boston native Dylan Connor, comes in the form of a gentle dreamy goth-pop musings. His new single, “In Your Ruin”, is driven along by Connor's melodic guitar riffs that feature no shortage of intriguing guitar tones. Using a six-string in the role of a bass guitar, and coupled with crisp chords, helps to show off Connor's ability to paint a picture with his guitar alone, leading the way for dark catchy vocals to entrace the listener by creating something that feels much larger than what it is.

The track was released through the Boston/Sweden-based February Records.
