Consider this a conflict of interest.
We've been working with the folks over at Dream for the past few months curating the July 14th edition of our Three Nights During The Con, so we've been well aware of the forthcoming dreaminess they're about to unload on you. This week it became official with the release of Chasms' “When It Comes” EP.
In what could best be described as shoegaze drone (copyright 2012), the Chasms cassette will lead a stellar line-up, with following Dream releases planned by the likes of Wes Eisold (Cold Cave/Some Girls/Give Up The Ghost), Cool Angels, Dirty Beaches, Cathedral X, Divers, Psychic Dancehall, and DVA DAMAS; an impending catalog that would imply a running theme that fits well with the new label's name.
