“Cloud Nothings, “I'm Not Part of Me”

Cloud Nothings, originally a one-man basement recording project in Cleveland, are getting ready to release their fourth full-lenth LP in a couple of months. A follow-up to 2012's Attack on Memory, it's called Here and Nowhere Else and, judging by the new single release, “I'm Not Part of Me,” holds the promise of a hardworking band that continues to exceed their fans' expecations. This time, frontman Dylan Baldi has moved his group's production to Hoboken, NJ, where they worked with Swans' producer John Congleton. The result is sure to make Ohioans and Brooklynites alike very happy. And don't worry if you missed their January 16 show at Rough Trade, more US tour dates are set for spring and will be announced soon.
