LA-based artist Duckwrth released his I’M UUGLY LP on September 23rd, but for those still not convinced of his ability by his previous singles, he released ”I’m Dead” today. The uptempo track features Sarina Claudio on the catchy, party-ready chorus. Producer Sad Money meshed hip-hop, electro, and pop into a dancefloor-ready soundscape ripe for Duckwrth to unleash his elastic flow over.
“I’m Dead” sees Duckwrth having carefree fun. “Even in the darkness, I bring light to you,” he rhymes to the object of his affection. The track sees him playing with a heart and harmony in equal doses, ending each verse with “skull emoji, I’m dead.”
