The Norway native, Kari Jahnsen, aka Farao, currently based in London, whose latest EP was recorded in Iceland has released her latest single, “The Hours,” which is an agglomeration of all those places and more. From a sense of geographical isolation to a feeling of being lost in a big city, longing for home, “The Hours,” is born out of frustration but also clarity. The first glimpse of Jahnsen’s voice is enough to pull any music fan in for the four minute epic.
Farao's self-titled EP is out February 10 via Something Nothing Records.
