Back in the day I actually used to gallery sit for the big room in the back of Gavin Brown's now defunct Passerby Bar, which is neither here nor there beyond the fact that I know that Golden Triangle probably played the craziest show those four white walls ever saw. This was back in their body paint and near nudity phase, which may or may not come through on the recording over at Pukekos.
BJ Rubin has gathered together personal Golden Triangle lore, perhaps most colorfully from guitarist and Xray Eyeballer OJ, who recounts creepy roofie-rapescapades and how their bassist nearly severed three of her fingers the night the band met her.
