Two months after releasing his second solo EP Polybel in January, Australia's Jasper Clifford Smith follows up with “Fight,” a bold track off two-part EP Fight/DR NO. The project was inspired by the riots that swept Turkey and Brazil in 2013, which Smith uses as fodder for his call-to-arms against fantasy totalitarianism in his own country. Not quite hip hop, though clearly influenced by it, the style marries spoken word with punk, pounding against a heavy synth drone and ominous drumming.

The EP comes out today, available here for a buck.
