It was last July when we first heard of Lionlimb as they opened up for recent garage-rock trailblazers, Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Since then, the heartland dream-rockers have been conjuring up some more of their signature wayside rock we only briefly were given a taste of. Wistful and twangy guitars color the new track, “Here He Come,” a practice in modern dream-rock, but they never get carried away, staying close to the ground. The vocals reminiscence but don’t dispirit the listener as they bounce over the swinging and uplifting guitar.
Lionlimb plans on releasing their debut LP sometime early next year. Check out “Here He Come” below.
