Last Box of Sparklers is the forthcoming tribute album dedicated to the late Mark Linkous of Sparklehorse, featuring music from The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, and Califone, among others. It was put together by Box of Stars, a nonprofit that raises awareness about issues related to mental health. Also involved in the project by contributing a poignant cover of Sparklehorse's “Comfort Me,” is a Brooklyn-based experimental pop group, Lip Talk, formerly known as Railbird. They just announced the name change, in time for their first ever headlining show as Lip Talk, this Saturday the 30th at Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn.
