Rising alt-indie duo unleashes emphatic, fuzzy new anthem
Watching the new video from rising alternative duo PEAKS! has me pining for long summer nights and my youth spent on skate ramps with nothing better to do. “Turin” is a track that emphatically touches many different genres, styles and approaches, and leaves the listener guessing throughout. The track builds from a half-time pattern, providing the vehicle for the pop-punk style vocals.
The track later descends into an unhinged piece of alt-rock that carries serious punch. Thrashing and fuzzy guitars take centre stage as the two-piece showcase their versatility and ability to turn a track on it’s head in an instant.
