“Mirage” is really quite the illusion. Full of shimmering synths and swirling beats, it’s hard to tell from an initial listen how intricate and multifaceted London-based Polygrains‘s sunset jammers actually are.
Now officially Larry Gus-endorsed, “Mirage” is the latest import from the up-and-coming Grecian producer, who’s new self-released record Split is set to drop August 5.
The project of Vasilis Moschas, it’s a mellow, bleep bloop-loving affair that sparkles against a backdrop of twinkling accents and squelchy synthlines. Accompanied by Moschas’s suave, slightly accented vocals that are hard not to stew in, it’s a turned-down, disco-tinged jam that’ll have you filled with fever-dream visions.
