Prussia is preparing its sophomore full length Poor English by releasing the Four For Attention EP tomorrow. The Detroit afro-beat boys fell silent since '09, but their return will overwhelm as it has three records dropping in the 11th hour.
We're debuting “What Am I Gonna Tell Your Mom?” from the Four For Attention EP today. For the best, Prussia has not changed since its last release, the bone rattling percussion infor the shakey croon of Ryan Spencer who's attempting to explain his disposition, while casually admitting “I'm a little drunk again.” He's crippled, yet convicted in his explanation, which makes for a brilliant pop waltz fit for any hap-hazardous lover with whiskey on the breath and a poem on a bar napkin.
In addition to the Four For Attention EP, the band recorded an electronic record as an escape from the tedious task of mixing Poor English. No word on a release date yet, but keep an ear out for Prussia Goes To The Disco.
