With their Lichtenstein-influenced cover and the light-hearted swinging of their drums, Regal Degal is a referential band for the modern times. There is only one tag on their SoundCloud and it is simply “crypto gypto” and while we see a little bit pop juiciness and a swelling through the center of this acoustic-driven track, we also find it reflects in on itself in a shoegazey, flirtatious, haunty way. Dark and light simultaneously pervade it, but don't be surprised if your feet are tapping harder than your tears fall. It's gorgeous and oiled up with reverb.
