Ferocious Oakland experimental band, Religious Girls are offering their latest album, I Want to Believe, for a limited time – free or pay what you like. The album features six screaming electronica tracks backed by soaring vocals and amazingly visceral drumming that kicks like jet through a sound barrier.
With songs like “Sweatshirt”, a syncopated powerhouse of a track, or the tortured push of “Care Harder”, Religious girls hardly take a moment to breathe on I Want to Believe. Appropriately titled, the entire album thrives on the bands relentless energy as it informs a sense of tortured optimism.
