“By now I know you probably think I should have told you everything and explained every thought that I was thinking,” sings Kyle Field within the first moments of Explains. It’s an apt introduction to his eleventh full-length record as Little Wings, a moody, folk-tinged record, one that’s heart is in its winding, self-reflective words, sung in a soft, wise deadpan. In April, we premiered the meditative and image-heavy “Where“, and now the entire album can be streamed below. It’s out today on Woodsist.
