Liverpudlian songwriter & Manchester singer collab on upbeat, summer-ready single.

Two of the most exciting names on the U.K. pop scene have collaborated on an upbeat, feel-good pop anthem for those suffering from the Monday blues.

Hailing from Liverpool, Ben Hughes’ Tall Children is the resulting project of a lifetime of hard work and dedication to his craft. Since first picking up the guitar, he’s been lucky enough to perform alongside the likes of Paul McCartney, The Zutons and Paulo Nutini. Since launching his own project, his releases have picked up support from New Music Friday, BBC Introducing and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1.

Kicking off the decade with an exciting collaboration, he’s roped in the outstanding musical talents of Youngr on his latest track. “Last For Long” showcases everything that’s good about their sound: infectious upbeat pop with a dance element pulsating throughout, and a message of positivity to boot.

“This track was written and produced in a single day. Like me, Youngr is a one-man music machine; a ball of energy,” Hughes shared. “So between us there was an abundance of ideas to inject into a simple pop song. We agreed that ‘Last For Long’ should mix Ibiza Club bangers with acoustic pop, delivering a massive, euphoric drop chorus. It’s time to get up, engage and make change. All of us, Tall Children, together.”
