For the first time in almost 30 years, drummer Mike Dillard has rejoined the Melvins to put out an album of twelve brand-new tracks. The kooky and experimental metalheads give their fans some vintage Melvins with their first release from the album Tres Cabrones. Gritty guitars, lo-fi drums, and pounding vocals line the track “American Cow”, as the band takes to it's contradictory signature brand of light hearted doom-metal. With the album featuring tracks titled “99 Bottles of Beer” and “Tie My Pecker to a Tree”, loyal Melvins fans can expect more of that on their new album.
Tres Cabrones is out November 5th on Ipecac Recordings.
